Spring stays at Jervis Bay’s original glamping camp come with a spring discount and a beach-side feast

Falling asleep to birdsong under a canvas roof, then walking straight into a 10-course dinner served along six kilometres of Jervis Bay coastline, is not a bad way to spend a spring weekend on the New South Wales south coast. Paperbark Camp, Australia’s original glamping property, is offering a 10 per cent spring saving on stays until 30 November 2026, timed to overlap with a coastal degustation walk that turns an entire beach into a dining room.

Set on the banks of Currambene Creek just outside Huskisson, around two and a half hours south of Sydney, Paperbark Camp built its reputation on raised safari tents tucked among spotted gums and paperbarks. The five-star eco retreat pairs bushland seclusion with open-air ensuites and bush-view tubs, aiming squarely at travellers wanting to slow down rather than fill an itinerary.

A tent among the treetops

Paperbark’s tents sit raised off the forest floor, camouflaged among the trees rather than cleared into a row. Each has polished hardwood flooring, a double canvas roof, an outdoor deck and a private open-air ensuite stocked with natural toiletries, letting guests bathe with the bush rather than a bathroom wall around them.

Spring brings longer daylight and warmer weather to the property, along with more visible wildlife along the creek and surrounding bush. Guests can spend the days kayaking Currambene Creek, swimming with seals, walking on Country with Indigenous guides or simply stargazing from the deck once the sun goes down.

Spring savings run until the end of November

Bookings made directly through the property for stays up to 30 November 2026 receive a 10 per cent discount using the code SPRING10. With the saving applied, bed and breakfast packages start from $460 per night for a couple or solo guest, including a full breakfast in the camp’s Gunyah restaurant, canoe hire and Wi-Fi. Dinner is booked separately: a three-course, seasonally changing menu at Gunyah costs $95 per person, and the restaurant is also open to non-guests.

A beach becomes a ten-course dining trail

On the weekend of 12 and 13 September 2026, Paperbark Camp partners with Coastal Forage, a progressive dining experience that moves diners on foot along six kilometres of Jervis Bay beach and coastal bush, stopping at eight stations for matched wines and courses inspired by the region. The full experience runs to 10 courses and costs $225 per person.

Guests staying at Paperbark that weekend who take part in the Forage receive a complimentary bottle of local wine from Cupitts Estate, simply by mentioning the event at check-in.

Book a spring stay at Paperbark Camp or reserve a place on the Coastal Forage dining walk.
