Set on the pristine shores of Malolo Island, Six Senses Fiji has unveiled its new Climate Warrior Program—an interactive, eco-minded initiative designed to engage children aged 6 to 13 in the wonders of conservation. This immersive experience blends education and adventure, making sustainability both accessible and exciting for younger guests.
Part of a global Six Senses initiative, the program is thoughtfully tailored to Fiji’s unique natural environment, allowing kids to learn about the planet while directly contributing to its protection.
Eco-education made fun and interactive
Available to guests staying three nights or more, the Climate Warrior Program follows a dynamic three-part journey—Learn, See, and Do.
Children begin by learning about ecosystems, climate change, and human impact through creative games, quizzes, art, and science-based activities at the resort’s Earth Lab. From there, they observe sustainability in action—witnessing how Six Senses Fiji harnesses renewable energy, composts organic waste, and upcycles materials into functional art and design.
The final phase sees children take on real-world eco tasks, culminating in a Climate Warrior Certificate that recognises their contribution to the environment.
Hands-on conservation experiences
Guided by the resort’s Grow With Six Senses and Sustainability teams, children take part in a variety of engaging activities designed to foster curiosity, responsibility, and a love for the natural world. These include:
- Playing Climate Action Bingo to explore environmental themes in a fun and accessible way
- Snorkelling the vibrant house reef and learning about marine conservation
- Planting native trees to preserve habitats for the critically endangered Fijian Crested Iguana
- Participating in hands-on workshops like composting, paper-making and building insect-friendly ‘bug hotels’
- Taking up conservation challenges like ultra-quick showers to highlight water-saving habits
The Climate Warrior Passport
Each child receives their own Climate Warrior Passport—a playful keepsake packed with interactive missions. As they complete each challenge, they earn a stamp, turning their sustainability journey into an exciting, goal-driven quest. Once all missions are completed, they’re awarded their official Climate Warrior Certificate in a celebratory moment.
